HEATHER DELONG

Director of Operations

Heather Delong is the backbone of Abell & Advisors, overseeing all operations with a wealth of experience. Heather plays a crucial role in the company, involved in everything from hiring and software to maintaining key relationships. Her extensive background enables her to make vital decisions that drive the firm's success.

Before joining Abell & Advisors, Heather had a distinguished banking career in wealth management. She managed a team of sales support professionals and gained valuable experience with trust and investments. Her expertise spans customer service, audit, regulatory adherence, and operations, ensuring the company runs smoothly and efficiently.

Outside of work, Heather loves being outdoors, walking, drinking wine, and traveling. She is a passionate advocate for animals, volunteering with multiple non-profit organizations and dog rescues in her region. Heather is also a devoted mother of four amazing kids. Her dedication to both her professional and personal life makes her an crucial member of the team.

MAXWELL STETSON

Tax Associate

Maxwell Stetson is a dedicated Tax Associate with a strong background in tax preparation and strategy. In his current role, Maxwell prepares and files accurate and timely tax returns for individuals, businesses, and organizations. He develops proactive tax strategies that align with clients' financial goals while optimizing tax efficiencies. Maxwell is adept at analyzing financial statements and records to identify tax-saving opportunities and risks. He effectively resolves tax notices by reviewing discrepancies, communicating with tax authorities, preparing necessary documents, and advising clients to achieve compliance and favorable financial results.

Maxwell's professional journey includes notable achievements such as graduating from Drexel University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and studying abroad in Oxford, England. He is currently pursuing his Enrolled Agent Certification. Maxwell has gained valuable experience working at Vanguard and ARG.

In addition to his professional pursuits, Maxwell is passionate about ice hockey, entrepreneurship, philosophy, theology, and literature. He actively engages in his community through involvement with Shinny USA. Maxwell's well-rounded background and commitment to excellence make him a valuable asset to the firm.

BRIAN WALKER

Tax Manager

Brian Walker is an accomplished accountant with extensive experience in federal and state tax services. He manages day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient workflow and strong client relationships. Brian leads tax compliance, preparation, and planning, adhering to all regulations and optimizing financial benefits for clients.

With three years at Deloitte and two years at BDO, Brian has served corporations and partnerships in Philadelphia, New York, and Washington D.C. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with a minor in Trust Management from the University of Delaware and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Brian also provides training and development opportunities for staff.

Outside of work, Brian enjoys golfing, fishing, and walking his dogs. He is actively involved in his community, contributing his time and expertise to various initiatives.

SASCHA CLARK

Tax & Payroll Administrator

Sasha Clark has over 10 years of experience in the tax industry. She is adept at handling high-level tax administration and senior-level responsibilities, focusing on meeting deadlines and enhancing internal processes for greater efficiency. Sasha began her career taking financial and managerial accounting courses to build her foundational knowledge & has held various positions.

Her responsibilities include processing and filing tax forms, ensuring compliance with regulations, assisting in tax planning, responding to client inquiries, helping with tax audits, and payroll processing.

Outside of work, Sasha enjoys spending time with family and friends, outdoor activities, and binge-watching good TV series. She is also committed to her community, regularly donating to local food banks and organizations like Purple Heart/Green Drop.
