About the Role
We are seeking a driven Tax Manager to join our growing Tax Advisory practice. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys navigating complex tax matters for small businesses and high-net-worth individuals in a collaborative environment, while maintaining a strong work-life balance.
Although this is primarily a remote role, we are looking for someone based within driving distance of the Philadelphia / West Chester, PA area, or someone open to relocating in the near future, as we meet in person a few times throughout the year.
In this role, you will prepare and review individual and business tax returns, research and apply relevant sections of the tax code, communicate directly with clients, and support tax planning and consulting projects. The ideal candidate is experienced, detail-oriented, comfortable working remotely, and interested in growing with a modern tax advisory firm.
Requirements
CPA or EA required.
5+ years of experience in tax preparation and planning for individuals and businesses.
Strong working knowledge of federal and state tax codes.
Experience preparing and reviewing individual and entity tax returns.
Comfortable communicating directly with clients.
Detail-oriented with strong time-management skills.
Comfortable working in a remote environment.
Experience with modern tax software and cloud-based systems preferred.
Must be based within driving distance of the Philadelphia / West Chester, PA area or open to relocating in the near future.
